Procter & Gamble, parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional, has divested multiple international shampoo brands to Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, parent company of Dial Professional.
The deal includes such shampoo brands as Pert and Shamtu and expands Henkel’s footprint and product offerings in Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, Reutersreports.
The transaction is part of the P&G’s long-term financial strategy to focus on its core brands.
