Hyatt's Andaz luxury-boutique brand has entered Southeast Asia with the opening of a 342-room hotel in Singapore.

The Andaz is part of the Duo project near the city's central business district. Duo consists of two concave-shaped skyscrapers, the taller one being 610 feet. Duo has shops, restaurants, offices and residences in addition to the Andaz.

Andaz Singapore features Alley on 25, a group of seven small "shop house" restaurants serving items such as noodles, barbecued snacks and shaved ice.

The hotel is the brand's fourth in Asia. Andaz also has properties in Shanghai, Delhi and Tokyo.
