AMResorts to gain ground in Mexico

AMResorts, an Apple Leisure Group-affiliated brand, has signed two resort brand management deals in Mexico in partnership with Oasis Hotels & Resorts, an international hotel group with properties throughout Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe.

The deals expand AMResorts’ resort portfolio in the country, growing the Now Resorts & Spas’ brand footprint in Cancun and introducing Sunscape Resorts & Spas in Akumal.
  
The resorts are conversions of two existing resorts, which will undergo renovations and re-open under AMResorts’ brands on June 1. The former Grand Oasis Sens in Cancun will be rebranded as the 427-room Now Emerald Cancun. The second property, Grand Oasis Tulum, will reopen as Sunscape Akumal Beach Resort & Spa, the first hotel for the brand in the area. The property will have 360 rooms.
